ISENGARD Part Ways With Bassist
March 16, 2004Swedish power metallers ISENGARD have parted ways with longtime bassist Janne "Goat" Tillman. Goat, who is said to have left the band for family reasons, was one of the founders of ISENGARD and "will be missed as an great musician and a great bandmember," according to a post on the group's web site.
"After all these years of playing together with Goat it's a great loss for me as the guitar player to find someone else that almost played what I wanted before I even told him, and as a highly skilled composer I sure will miss him, but there is a time when you have to let the personal life take the first place in life," stated ISENGARD's Ronnie Andréson. "Good luck to your future plans and you know that you always will be a part of ISENGARD."
ISENGARD are currently auditioning candidates for the bassist position and hope to announce a replacement for Goat soon.
